Beth, as she was known to many, accepted Christ as her personal Savior, was baptized and became a member of the Salem Mennonite Church, where she remained a faithful member throughout her lifetime. She served Salem as a Bible School teacher and organist for many years. She attended Shickley Public School and graduated with the class of 1967. In her youth she helped on the family farm. Later, she was a bookkeeper, receptionist and made the office run at Triple S Carpet in Shickley, Nebraska. She was an advocate for the Shickley Longhorn athletics and spent many hours keeping the scorebook. Beth worked at Fillmore County Hospital in the medical records department for many years and made many friends there. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be remembered as a person who always looked on the bright side of life, even when her health began to fail, she was still very upbeat and positive. Beth is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her brother, Perry Jr. and many cousins and friends.
