Debra Rose Escudero was born to Raul Garcia and Mary Garcia (Hurtado) on August 30, 1977 at El Centro, California and passed away July 8, 2021 at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 49. She was one of 2 children in the family. Debbie grew up in California, she was outgoing, loving, friendly and caring. Her strong will got her many places and kept everyone on their toes. She was very protective of her family and because of this she got her Black Belt in Karate so she could stand up to anyone being bullied. While living in California she was blessed with Carissa, Victoria, and Olivia. Debbie and the family moved to Nebraska in 2003. She worked at YRTC for many years. The family was later blessed with the additions of Ricky in 2006 and Julian in 2007. Debbie loved being around her family. In 2011, her son, Lil Ricky, passed away from hydrocephalus. This deeply hurt Debbie and her family. She always had a giant piece of her heart missing. You could usually find her on one of her many trips to Walmart looking for a good deal, and stocking up on her Pepsi. Debbie and her strong personality, along with her loud laugh will be greatly missed. Debbie is preceded in death father, Raul Garcia; grandparents; uncle Mike and son, Richard Escudero. Debbie is survived by husband, Rick Escudero; daughters, Clarissa Garcia, Victoria Escalera, Olivia Escalera; son, Julian Escudero; mother, Mary Garcia; sister, Monica Garcia Bedolla, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
