Smith and Ruth (Bobbit) Smith, was born on October 18, 1931 in Aurora, Missouri. She passed away on March 2, 2020 in Omaha, Nebraska at CHI Health Immanuel Hospital at the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 15 days. Marilyn went to High School in Hastings, Nebraska and married Maurice (Morry) Lovegrove (the love of her life) on August 15, 1949. They moved from Geneva, Nebraska to Joliet, Montana in 1973. Morry and Marilyn had 6 wonderful children, 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Marilyn was loved by all with her sunny disposition and positive attitude on life in general. She was extremely respected in every community that had the pleasure of her bubbly personality. She never tired of extending a helping hand in joy and sorrow, or telling you another STORY you couldn’t walk away from! She loved nature, painting scenery & flowers and growing plants. Marliyn was always busy crocheting, refinishing or refurbishing something, playing any card game (betting optional and she would take your money). Earlier years you could find her and Morry dancing and rollerskating. Children, grandchildren, and family in general were her most important thing she loved. Marilyn lived a full life with a young heart and made the best of every situation. She was preceded in death by husband Morry and her twin boys, Donny D. and Danny D. Lovegrove. She is survived by her children Gregory & wife Christy Lovegrove (grandchildren Cara & Kim), Debra & husband Larry Van Ackeren (grandchildren Heidi, Holly, Heather, & Nicole), John Robert Lovegrove, and Brenda & husband Cass Brown (grandchildren Danielle, Mike, and Robert Joseph).
