Rene E. Rozanek

January 8, 1934 - December 11, 2019

Rene Edward Rozanek was born on January 8, 1934 at Exeter, Nebraska to Edward and Leota (Wilson) Rozanek. He passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home in Kearney at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 3 days. Rene served in the U.S. Army. He was inducted on July 10, 1956, and he was honorably discharged on July 9, 1958. He was a life-long farmer. Rene was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, June Rozanek, of Geneva, Nebraska; children Renae Griess & husband Darrell of Hastings, Nebraska, David Rozanek & wife Tess of Charleston, South Carolina, and Susan Hessheimer & husband Dennis of Lincoln, Nebraska; three grand daughters; and three great grand sons. It was Rene’s wish to be cremated. A private family Inurnment will be held in the Exeter Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
